Rotary Atomizer

Atomizer is used in a Spray Drying plant to convert Liquid to Powder. For  eg. Milk to Milk powder. It is a high-speed machine requiring careful handling and regular maintenance.

Technical Specifications of AT 80 - Laboratory Model

a) Mounting Plate - 300mm OD x 10mm thick.

b) Height of Atomizer - Top plate top to wheel top - 330mm.

c) Wheel diameter - 80mm with 8 holes of 4mm OD.

d) Shaft speeds - 24000, 22000, and 20000 rpm to be achieved by changing the shaft pulley.

 

Technical Specifications of AT 100

a) Mounting Plate - 300mm OD x 10 mm thick with motor extension of about 80 mm from one side. If Atomizer is lowered in chamber then Cavity in chamber should be min.470 mm.

b) Height of Atomizer - top plate top to wheel top - 350 mm.

c) Wheel diameter - 100 mm with 24 slots or with 8 holes of 4 mm.

d) Shaft speeds – 20000, 18000 and 15000 rpm to be achieved by changing the shaft pulley.

Technical Specifications of AT 120 -

a) Mounting Plate - 350mm OD x 12mm thick with motor extension of      about 100mm from one side.

b) Height of Atomizer - top plate top to wheel top - 494 mm

c) Wheel diameter - 120 mm with 24 slots or with 8 holes of 4 mm

d) Shaft speeds - 12000, 14000 and 16000 rpm achieved by changing the shaft pulley.

 

Technical Specifications of AT 160

a) Mounting Plate – 450mm OD x 12 mm thick with motor extension of about 100 mm from one side.

b) Height of Atomizer – top plate top to wheel top – 760 mm

c) Wheel diameter – 160 mm with 16 inserts/12 inserts/8 inserts having 5 mm ID holes or Venned wheel having 16 or 24 slots of 6 mm wide x 8 mm deep.

d) Shaft speeds – 12,000, 14,000 and 16,000 rpm to be achieved by changing the shaft pulley.
